Asiwaju Fasuyi's 70th: Aregbesola, Oyo Deputy Governor, Adelabu, Adedoja, Owa Obokun, Others Present

The week long 70th birthday celebrations of Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi came to an end on Saturday, October 25, 2025 with thanksgiving service at the Cathedral Church of Holy Trinity, Omofe, Ilesa in Osun State.

The church was filled to the brim with who is who in the society, political icons, business stakeholders, celebrities, monarchs, creme de la creme in the society, and host of others.

After the church service, all the dignitaries moved in convoy to Senabab Hotel, Ijebu Jesa road for the reception.

The opening prayer at the reception was said by Prof Osonubi and the introduction of guests was performed by the masters of the ceremony.

The launching of Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi's book titled, " The Passion of A Patriot by Remi Oyeyemi, was coordinated by the sister of the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, Mama Modupe Adeleke Sanni and followed by the cutting of the cake directed by Ambassador Akanbi.

Some of the dignitaries present at the occasion could not hide the joy in them by praising the celebrant, Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi as the bonafide omo Ijesa who has used his resources to develop Ijesaland and also his philanthropy gestures for anybody who come across him.

Some of the dignitaries present at the occasion included the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, former governor of Osun State and former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and deputy governor of Oyo State, Chief Bayo Lawal, 

Others included former Minister of Sports, Prof. Taoheed Adedoja, Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Oba Adesuyi Haztrup, who led other monarchs and host of Others.
