Academy Suites, Ibadan Central Hospital Honour Staff with Excellence Awards

Staff of Academy Suites, a popular hotel in Ibadan, and its subsidiary, Ibadan Central Hospital, have been celebrated by the management with a buffet and awards ceremony aimed at motivating excellence and dedication at work.

The event, held in Ibadan, brought together members of staff from both establishments who turned out in a uniform fabric, creating a colourful and festive atmosphere for the celebration.

The Chief Executive Officer of the companies, Dr Habeeb Olamitoye, was joined by dignitaries at the occasion, including the Okanlomo Oodua and Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, Comrade Akeem Abas, and his predecessor, Chief Demola Babalola.

Highlights of the event included a lavish buffet served to guests and staff, as well as the presentation of awards to employees who distinguished themselves in the course of the year.

Outstanding staff members were honoured in various categories such as Ambassadors of Integrity, Hard Work, Friendliness and Cleanliness, with award recipients receiving cheques and plaques

Speaking at the event, Dr. Habeeb Olamitoye said the awards and celebration were designed to inspire, encourage and motivate staff to continue to give their best in the discharge of their duties.

He noted that the success of Academy Suites and Ibadan Central Hospital was largely dependent on the commitment and professionalism of their workforce, adding that excellence would always be recognised and rewarded.

The ceremony also featured entertainment segments, as staff showcased their talents through cultural dances, miming and choreography, adding glamour and excitement to the occasion.
