Governor Oyebanji pays severance allowances to all former Vice Chairmen , Councilors , Supervisors and Secretaries who served under the JKF2 administration .

Meanwhile, before now , the Governor had paid  leave bonus and Furniture Allowances to the same set 

Following Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s approval of the payment of severance allowance for political office holders who served during the JKF 2, a press briefing was held  by the Honorable Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Foluso Olabode , yesterday. 

This historic gesture has left many public servants in awe, as such a move has never been witnessed in the history of Ekiti State. 

A sitting  Governor extending this level of compassion and fairness to former political office holders is not just remarkable but also unprecedented.

Few days ago , it was the turn of State and Local Government workers and pensioners. 

Present at the press briefing were the Director-General of Community Communications, Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho; Hon. Adetunji Stephen”Skido” Technical Assistant on Local Government Affairs; ALGON Chairman , Hon Segun Ojo , PS of the Ministry and other key officials.
