THE CIRCULATION OF A VIDEO PURPORTING THAT OLUBADAN OF IBADANLAND SNUBBED, IGNORED THE ALAAFIN OF OYO AT AN EVENT

I am very close to Baba Olubadan and I know him too well.

Baba that I know will not even treat a charlatan like that. Baba is humility personified and respects all and sundry, not to talk of a first class King of Alaafin status.

I was with Baba on Saturday, the 10th day of January,2026 with some younger friends who are members of the Junior Chambers International . I secured the appointment with Baba within shortest notice to the palace.

My fellow Jaycees who are the promoters of the World Film Festival which always hold in Ibadan and this year’s edition will also take place in Ibadan were marveled at the humility of Baba Olubadan and they warm and great reception that Baba extended to them. Baba didn’t stop at that , he even called a prominent name in the Movie Production world and mandated him to assist us over this year’s edition of the World Film Festival. That is Baba for you. He also took photographs with us and said that we should feel free to use same in the promo for the event. Baba held and endorsed the project booklet

The Baba Olubadan that I know doesn’t keep malice at all and relates with all and sundry very well. I have cited and wrote instances of how he forgave those who vilified and persecuted him before as if nothing ever happened and those included but not limited Baba Olusegun Obasanjo, Baba Lamidi Adedibu of blessed memory and of recent Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja.

Kindly ignore that thrash that some mischief makers are sharing in the cyberspace.
