In the vibrant heart of Ekiti State, a sacred promise has been faithfully fulfilled, a promise that honours not just spoken words but the lifelong sacrifices of the men and women who laid the foundation of our dear state.

Under the compassionate, visionary and people centered leadership of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, dignity has been gloriously restored to thousands of retirees who once served Ekiti with unwavering dedication and integrity. Between October 2022 and October 2025, his administration disbursed a remarkable twenty five billion naira in pension payments, directly reaching and uplifting 10,008 pensioners. Every single naira paid is more than financial support. It is a symbol of gratitude, a badge of honour, and a reassuring message that service to Ekiti will never be forgotten

The story shines even brighter. Governor Oyebanji courageously confronted inherited challenges and cleared over one point one billion naira in long standing pension arrears between August 2023 and February 2024, covering the difficult period of July to September 2018. Years of waiting were replaced with smiles of relief. Anxiety gave way to renewed hope. Homes once burdened by uncertainty now radiate peace and thanksgiving. This is not ordinary governance. This is leadership with a human heart.

Beyond pensions, sustained monthly gratuity payments continue to flow, releasing billions more to ensure our elders enjoy comfort, security and pride after years of devoted service. This golden record reflects a beautiful philosophy of governance that cares, governance that remembers, governance that honours.

Ekiti kete can see it. Ekiti kete can feel it. Ekiti kete is proud of it.

Today, retirees sit together in confidence, civil servants work with renewed motivation, and families across our towns and villages testify that compassionate leadership is alive in Ekiti.
