Olubadan celebrates Prof Adedoja @75

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja has described the reknowned educationist and former Nigerian Minister of Sports and Special Duties,Prof Taoheed Adedoja as an illustrous son of Ibadanland, whose life is worth-celebrating.
The respected royal father stated this today while paying glowing tribute to Prof Adedoja at 75.
Oba Ladoja said It is not surprising that he is currently the pioneer Director-General,the Teachers Continuos Training Institute (TCTI),Cross River State.As the first digital literacy proficiency institution, Prof Adedoja has been at the forefront of stakeholders closing the gap in teachers continuous professional development across Nigeria and West Africa.
Said Olubadan : "As an educator and institution builder,Prof Adedoja has had the opportunity of working with me as the chairman,Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board,SUBEB when i was the Oyo State Governor between 2003 and 2007.
"The Balogun Agbaoye was the Board chairman when we carried out a comprehensive education reform,which culminated in the 30 students per class policy.If Oyo state won the 2nd best position in Nigeria's 36 states within that period,it was well because of the lofty contributions of people like the celebrant."
The chairman, Oyo state council of Obas and chiefs prayed God to strenghten the respected academic to keep shopping for minds,bridging divides and building for a better education system.
