OLUYOLE 2027 : Barrister Ishola Congratulates Tinubu, Sarafadeen Alli; Calls for Calm Over Oluyole Assembly Candidate Announcement

The House of Assembly aspirant for Oluyole Local Government Constituency, Barrister Lawal Akeem Ishola, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his landslide victory in the just-concluded presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement issued in Ibadan, the legal practitioner also extended warm congratulations to the APC gubernatorial candidate for Oyo State, Barrister Sarafadeen Alli, following his resounding victory at the state primary election.

Barrister Ishola commended the national and state leadership of the APC for the peaceful and successful conduct of the primary elections across the country. He expressed absolute confidence that, with the caliber of candidates produced, the APC is well-positioned to secure victory from top to bottom in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

Commenting on the local exercise, Barrister Ishola called for peace and calm regarding the groundless and unverified stories circulating on social media about the House of Assembly primary in Oluyole Constituency. He urged party faithful to remain steadfast and await the official declaration from the national secretariat rather than heating up the polity.

Recounting the internal process, the legal practitioner noted that the party leadership has worked tremendously to ensure all party activities are carried out fairly and without ambiguity, in order to manage post-primary friction.

In line with the Electoral Act, to test their popularity. Barrister Lawal Akeem Ishola reaffirmed his acceptance within the constituency, stating that he won the majority of wards, making him an unbeatable House of Assembly aspirant in Oluyole Constituency.

Responding to the unverified claims on social media, Barrister Ishola called for restraint and respect for party structures and leadership. He stressed that progressive party ideology should be upheld at all levels. As a lawyer and loyal party man, he said he would not join issues on the internet or engage in media wars, since party guidelines clearly state that all official results will be announced centrally by the national secretariat.

He concluded by expressing unshakable confidence that the National Secretariat, known for its commitment to guiding principles, will ensure a seamless victory for the APC in the forthcoming general elections.
