As Muslims across the country celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, the Oyo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has extended its heartfelt felicitations to its members, supporters, and the entire Muslim community, calling for renewed dedication to the ideals of peace and national development.

In a festive message issued from the party’s secretariat in Ibadan, the ruling party urged the citizenry to internalize the core lessons of the sacred season, emphasizing that the virtues of sacrifice, love, and tolerance are vital ingredients needed to navigate the current socio-economic climate of the nation.

The party expressed optimism that the spiritual blessings of the festival would manifest in joy, prosperity, and a reinforced bond of togetherness among the people of Oyo State.

While acknowledging the current political and economic landscape, the Oyo PDP high command specially commended the rank and file of the party for their steadfastness.

The leadership noted that the unwavering loyalty of its members across the 33 local government areas remains the bedrock of the party's sustained success and governance strides in the state.

Reiterating its commitment to the welfare of the people, the party called on all residents to continuously support government policies aimed at locking in sustainable peace, infrastructural progress, and holistic development for Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

The statement, which concluded with warm wishes of a blessed Eid Mubarak to the Muslim faithful, was officially signed by the State Secretary, Dr. Abiola Olaonipekun.
