Fatola Calls for National Unity, Divine Intervention in Commemoration of Hijrah 1448AH

As Muslim faithful across the country commemorate the dawn of Hijrah 1448AH, Opeyemi Fatola, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ibadan Southwest/Ibadan Northwest Federal Constituency, has called for intensified prayers for the unity, peace, and socio-economic progress of Nigeria and Oyo State.
In a message released to mark the occasion, the federal constituency hopeful seized the moment to reflect on the significance of the Hijrah, describing it as a period that demands deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and a collective commitment to nation-building. Fatola emphasized that the challenges currently confronting the nation require not only proactive leadership but also divine intervention to navigate towards a path of sustained development and stability.
The PDP candidate urged citizens to remain steadfast in their pursuit of harmony and tolerance, noting that the progress of the state and the country at large is intrinsically linked to the unity of its people. He encouraged the populace to use the holy period to pray fervently for leaders at all levels of government, seeking wisdom and guidance for them to formulate policies that directly improve the welfare of the citizenry.
Fatola reiterated his commitment to represent the interests of his constituents with integrity and purpose, stressing that the spirit of Hijrah serves as a reminder of the rewards of perseverance and righteous action.
