A New Dawn for PDP,' Fatola Congratulates Gbolarumi on INEC Milestone

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ibadan South-West/North-West Federal Constituency, Hon. Opeyemi Fatola, has congratulated the party's governorship candidate in Oyo State, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi, following the successful upload of his nomination profile on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP).

Fatola described the development as "a new dawn" for the PDP in Oyo State, saying the successful upload represents a significant milestone in the party's preparations for the 2027 governorship election.

Speaking shortly after the confirmation, Fatola said the development had strengthened the confidence of party members and supporters across the state, expressing optimism that the PDP was on course for victory.

> "This is a new dawn for our great party. I heartily congratulate our governorship candidate, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi, on this important milestone. The successful upload of his nomination profile is a positive development for the PDP, and we remain united and committed to working for victory in the 2027 general elections," he said.

The Independent National Electoral Commission had earlier acknowledged the successful submission of Gbolarumi's nomination profile on its Candidate Nomination Portal, with a temporary acknowledgement confirming receipt of the candidate's particulars pending the completion of the nomination process in line with the commission's guidelines.

Fatola urged PDP members and supporters to remain steadfast and continue mobilising support for the party across Oyo State, expressing confidence that the PDP would emerge stronger ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
