Oyo 2027: PDP’s Adedibu, Fatola, Taiwo Set for Sept 6 Campaign Flag-Off

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the political atmosphere in Oyo State is charged as candidates under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) prepare to flag off their campaigns.

A joint campaign structure has been slated for a major flag-off event on September 6, bringing together key hopefuls across constituencies. 

Prominent among them is Hon. Usman Sijuade Adedibu, who is vying for the Oyo State House of Assembly under the Ibadan South West I State Constituency.

Also joining the September 6 mobilization are Hon. Samson Opeyemi Fatola (Te S'Oju E), the candidate for the Federal Representative seat for Ibadan North West/South West Federal Constituency, and Hon. Jimoh Taiwo, running for the Oyo State House of Assembly in Ibadan South West II State Constituency.

Political observers in Ibadan note that the upcoming event is designed to galvanize grassroots support across the constituencies, with Adedibu's camp stepping up mobilization efforts ahead of the date.
