LECAN: HONOURED TO SERVE, INSPIRED TO DO MORE! ⚡
Earlier today, I was profoundly honoured to be recognised by the #Licensed Electrical Contractors Association of Nigeria (LECAN), Oyo State Chapter) with an Award of Excellence and Appointment as Patron during their anniversary celebration held at Dapo Aderogba Hall, Nuj Press Center in Ibadan.
Represented by my Senior Legislative Aide, Alhaji Hakeem Okedina, this honour is one I hold in high esteem, as it reflects our shared dedication to engineering excellence, professional capacity development, and nation-building.
The event, themed “Building Capacity, Building the Future: The Next Chapter for Licensed Electrical Contractors,” underscores the importance of empowering skilled professionals who form the backbone of our nation’s energy and infrastructure sectors. Indeed, a nation’s growth depends on those who build, wire, and power its progress.
As an engineer and public servant, I remain deeply committed to advancing policies and initiatives that will strengthen the technical capacity of our professionals, promote safety standards, and drive innovation in the power and construction industries.
I sincerely appreciate the leadership of LECAN Oyo State Chapter, ably led by Chairman Adeshola Sylvester Gbogi, for this thoughtful recognition. Your efforts in fostering professionalism, innovation, and unity within the sector are truly commendable.
This honour further motivates me to continue working with professional bodies, artisans, and industry stakeholders toward building a sustainable, technology-driven, and energy-secure #Oyostate and #Nigeria.
Together, we will keep lighting the path toward a brighter future. 🔆
