Legendary Broadcaster/ Yes FM 101.7 FM Boss, Yemi Sonde Congratulates New Oyo NUJ Chairman, Akeem Abas

The legendary broadcaster and Chairman, Yes 101.7 FM, Yemi Sonde has congratulated the new Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Oyo State Council, Akeem Babatunde Abas.
Yemi Sonde gave the congratulatory message from America while speaking with journalists in a telephone conversation immediately Abas was declared the winner of the just concluded NUJ election held at Dapo Aderogba Hall, Iyaganku, Ibadan.
According to him, the emergence of Abas as Oyo NUJ Chairman is a reflection of the confidence that members of the noble union have in his capacity to lead them at this point in time, praying that the Almighty God will grant him divine wisdom, strength, and favour as he steers the affairs of the Council.
Yemi Sonde however charged the new NUJ Chairman, Akeem Abas to bring greater unity, renewed professionalism, and remarkable progress to the NUJ family in Oyo State.
