Gbolarunmi Demands Immediate Rescue Of Adelabu’s Sister, Twins, Calls For Total Overhaul Of Oyo Security

 The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarunmi, has made an urgent appeal for the immediate and unconditional rescue of all kidnap victims in the state, following the shocking abduction of Mrs. Busayo Adelabu John-Paul and her twin sons.

​Gbolarunmi, who spoke through a press statement released by his media team, decried the current wave of insecurity ravaging the state and demanded that the state government take decisive action to free everyone currently held in captivity by bandits and gunmen.

​The PDP governorship candidate expressed deep concern over the vulnerability of residents, stating that the state has become unsafe, leaving citizens to live in perpetual fear.

 He noted that Oyo State was previously renowned as one of the safest in the country, but has recently witnessed a worrying decline in public safety due to a failure to properly mobilize and support security agencies.

 While demanding the swift rescue of Mrs. John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons, Gbolarunmi explicitly tasked Governor Seyi Makinde to expand the rescue operations to cover all other victims of recent kidnappings across the state, including those involved in the unresolved Oriire school abduction saga.

 He warned that the state government must deploy all available state resources to tackle the menace, asserting that the administration cannot fold its arms while innocent citizens are routinely picked up by criminals.
