Father’s Day: Fatola, aka Tesuojue, salutes fathers, rallies support for constituency vision

As the world commemorates Father’s Day, Honourable Opeyemi Fatola, popularly known as Tesuojue, has paid glowing tributes to the Nigerian father, hailing their resilience, industry, and steadfast commitment to the development of the nation despite prevailing economic challenges.

​In a statement issued by his media office in Ibadan on Sunday, Fatola acknowledged the immense burden shouldered by fathers, describing them as the unsung heroes whose sacrifices remain the cornerstone of stable families and a progressive society. He encouraged them not to lose hope in the Nigerian project, urging them to continue “keeping the flag flying” as the country navigates its path toward economic prosperity and social cohesion.

​While acknowledging their roles as home-builders, Fatola, known for his deep grassroots connection, seized the opportunity to mobilize the electorate for a paradigm shift in governance. He pointedly called on his constituents to prepare to come out en masse when the transition period arrives to throw their full weight behind the vision he represents.

​Describing himself as a “man of the people” and a quintessential grassroots mobilizer, Fatola noted that the choice of leadership in the coming days would define the future of the Ibadan Southwest and Ibadan Northwest Federal Constituency. He emphasized that the support for this movement is not merely political but a strategic move to ensure the constituents have a representative who genuinely understands the pulse and pain points of the people at the local level.
