Anyanwu at 61: Odeyemi lauds PDP National Secretary’s ‘unwavering commitment’

​ The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family today joined in the celebration of its National Secretary, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, as he marks his 61st birthday.

​Leading the commendations for the former federal lawmaker, the National Treasurer of the party, Diran Odeyemi, extolled Senator Anyanwu for his steadfast dedication to the ideals of the main opposition party.

​In a congratulatory message made available to the press, Odeyemi lauded the Senator’s “unwavering commitment” to the party’s stability, noting that his leadership at the National Secretariat has been instrumental in navigating the PDP through complex political terrains.

​“Today, we celebrate a man whose loyalty to our party is beyond question,” Odeyemi stated. “At 61, Senator Sam Anyanwu has demonstrated what it means to be a true party man. His unwavering commitment to the growth and progress of the PDP, even in the most challenging times, has been a source of inspiration to many of us.”

​The National Treasurer further highlighted Anyanwu’s administrative expertise, noting that his tenure as National Secretary has been characterized by inclusivity and a bridge-building approach that has helped harmonize various interests within the National Working Committee (NWC).

​“Senator Anyanwu is more than just an official; he is a stabilizer,” Odeyemi added. “His legislative experience and administrative sagacity have proven to be an invaluable asset. We are proud of his journey and the selfless service he continues to render to our party and the nation at large.”

​Odeyemi used the occasion to offer heartfelt prayers for the celebrant, wishing him long life, sound health, and divine wisdom to continue his contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development.

​“As he marks this milestone, my prayer is that the Almighty grants him the strength to continue his impactful service. The PDP is fortunate to have a leader of his caliber at this critical juncture of our history,” he concluded.

​Senator Anyanwu, who represented Imo East in the Senate, has continued to receive a wave of goodwill messages from party stakeholders, associates, and grassroots supporters across the country, all underscoring his reputation as a humble and dedicated political strategist.
