I Will Win the Next Election – Gbolarumi Declares

In a statement that reflects both confidence and deep reflection, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi has declared that he is certain of victory in the upcoming gubernatorial election in Oyo State, saying the people have seen enough to make a wise choice.

Speaking on his political journey and commitment to the people, Gbolarumi said while other politicians may try their best, the electorate in Oyo State have become wiser and more discerning. According to him, the people now clearly understand who truly has their interest at heart.

“I am confident that I will win the next election,” he stated. “Not because I underestimate others, but because I know the pulse of our people. They have seen who stayed and who ran. They have seen who remained loyal when the storm came and who abandoned ship. The people of Oyo are wise. They know who genuinely cares about them.”

Alhaji Gbolarumi emphasized his unwavering loyalty to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) even during its most turbulent period.

“While others left the party at the slightest discomfort, I remained. When many abandoned our mentor and chose the path of convenience, I stayed true. I never left the PDP. I never left my mentor. And because of that, I never left the grassroots,” he said.

He noted that his decision to remain steadfast has kept him firmly grounded with the people — in the markets, in the wards, in the towns and villages — rather than staying away in the comfort of political comfort zones.

“My strength is not in Abuja or in temporary alliances. My strength is with the ordinary people of Oyo State who have continued to stand by me even when it was not fashionable. That bond is unbreakable,” he added.

Gbolarumi urged his supporters to remain calm, focused, and committed, assuring them that the genuine love and trust the people have shown him over the years will translate into victory at the polls.

“The people know those who have been with them in both good and bad times. They know who has their interest at heart. And because they know, I am fully confident of the outcome.”
