We’re Overwhelmed by Love for Ogogo — Jide Kosoko

Veteran Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko, has expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming love, prayers and support extended to fellow actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, by Nigerians at home and abroad.

Kosoko, who spoke at an ongoing prayer session held for Ogogo, particularly appreciated Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, for reaching out and expressing her willingness to support the ailing actor.

The veteran actor also commended Senator Yayi Akorede for his immense support, revealing that the senator had been responsible for Ogogo’s medical expenses and had even facilitated an Indian visa for him before doctors advised that he was not fit to travel.

According to Kosoko, with all efforts now in the hands of God, the family, colleagues and well-wishers are placing their trust in the Almighty for Ogogo’s complete recovery.

“At this point, we are placing our hope in Almighty God. We believe God will restore Ogogo’s health.

“May God hear the prayers of everyone standing with Ogogo and grant him complete healing and renewed strength,” Kosoko said.

The veteran actor’s remarks came amid continued prayers and expressions of solidarity from colleagues, fans and well-wishers across Nigeria and beyond for Ogogo’s recovery.
