In a major power move signaling a bold new era for the region’s media landscape, Dominion Broadcast Group has officially tapped industry giant and veteran broadcaster, Mr. Olúṣẹ́gun Fáwọlé, popularly known as "Flood," as its new General Manager.

The high-profile appointment, which took effect on June 2, 2026, is a definitive statement of intent from the media conglomerate. By placing a seasoned titan with over two decades of raw, hands-on broadcasting experience at the helm, the group is positioning itself for absolute market dominance and a massive digital leap forward.

Fáwọlé’s elevation is the direct result of a stellar track record characterized by exceptional leadership, deep industry intuition, and an elite capacity to manage complex, fast-moving media operations. Before capturing the group's top executive seat, he served as the General Manager of Dominion 106.1 FM in Ibadan, where his strategic direction drastically elevated the station's competitive edge and listener engagement.

A true heavy hitter in the Nigerian media space, Fáwọlé’s journey began at a remarkably young age in the year 2000, cutting his teeth at NTA 2 Channel 5 under the mentorship of the late Allan Ado Imosili. Since then, he has built an iconic career, lending his midas touch to some of the biggest call signs across the country. His formidable resume includes impactful stints at Ray Power Lagos, Coal City FM (FRCN) Enugu, Radio Continental (now Max FM), Uniq FM Ilesa, Love FM Port Harcourt, Inspiration FM, Fresh FM, Blast FM Ibadan, and Dynasty FM Oyo.

Fáwọlé is far from just an administrative executive; he is a complete media powerhouse. A Mass Communication graduate from The Polytechnic, Ibadan (HND, 2005), he holds a specialized certificate in Digital Marketing from the United Kingdom, bridging the gap between traditional broadcasting excellence and modern digital strategy. He is also a professional manager certified by the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), a respected media consultant, a distinct voice-over artist, a cinematographer, and a videographer with highly acclaimed skills in audio production.

Recognizing that an asset of his caliber is best utilized where the action happens, the board has confirmed that Fáwọlé will not step away from his current post. In addition to his sweeping new responsibilities overseeing the entire Dominion Broadcast Group portfolio, he will continue to serve concurrently as the Coordinating Head of Dominion 106.1 FM.

The official announcement, signed by the Group’s General Manager of Finance and Administration, Ọládòkun Festus Morákinyọ̀, confirms that the group is fully rallying behind Fáwọlé. With an industry giant now guiding the ship, Dominion Broadcast Group is set to unleash a wave of innovative content and operational excellence that will undoubtedly shake up the media industry.
