Following the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) formal update of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership structure, Hon. Opeyemi Fatola has declared that total internal unity is now the ultimate pathway to an undisputed victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Fatola, the PDP candidate for the Ibadan South West/Ibadan North West Federal Constituency, described the electoral umpire's official recognition of Prince Odeyemi Mackson Oladiran as National Treasurer and Eyim Donatus Hentry as National Financial Secretary as a foundational triumph that resonates from the national leadership down to the grassroots
With the administrative dispute resolved, Fatola emphasized that the party has entered a new era of stability, removing any lingering distractions and setting a clear course for future electoral dominance.
Seizing the momentum of this structural milestone, the federal constituency hopeful extended an open invitation to all aggrieved PDP members across the state and nation, urging them to discard past differences and return to the party fold. He maintained that the INEC validation signals a reinforced structure where every stakeholder’s contribution is valued, confidently asserting that a unified PDP remains an unstoppable force capable of securing a total clean sweep in the 2027 polls.
"This recognition is a clear win for the party from top to bottom," Hon. Fatola stated, noting that the validation serves as a direct call to service for the newly confirmed officials. He added that the administrative breakthrough is a reflection of strong leadership, paying high tribute to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his relentless role as a stabilizing force, alongside the Oyo State PDP gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi, for his unwavering commitment to fortifying the party’s ranks.
As the political landscape intensifies ahead of the 2027 elections, Fatola’s charge underscores a strategic shift toward reconciliation and absolute consolidation. By congratulating the new national officers and framing their appointments as a duty to the party’s foundational ideals, the house of representatives candidate has set a tone of collective responsibility, reminding all faithful that the ultimate victory relies entirely on a house united.
